I Offer Different Types of Lessons & Training
Private Lessons
1-2-1 sessions arranged at a time to suit you, usually on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Private lessons are be tailored to suit your own musical goals and ambitions.
I aim to cater for all styles and interests to make the lessons relevant to what you want to achieve. So whether you want to strum along to golden oldies, rock out on stage or improve your theory I'll set songs and exercises that will get you to your goal.

I now offer online lessons via skype & zoom as well.

Prices: £30 for 1 hour. £18 for 30 minutes. Travel charges may apply. Contact me for details.
Group Lessons

Perhaps you don't want to go it alone and would like to partner-up with a friend?
​
Group lessons can be arranged to get you playing together with friends.
​
You may have already started playing together but need some direction or new techniques to try?
​
In a group session you'll get some individual tips for development and some songs or exercises to
​
work at together.
​
​
Prices: £36 for 1 hour for 2 students.

Courses & Workshops
I run various short courses and one day workshops for local adult learning centres.
Courses run for 5 -10 weeks and are aimed and beginners often with another course for improvers that follows on from there.
Workshops are usually 3-4 hours and are focused on a specific genre or technique.
These tend to be aimed at more able players but those who have completed improvers courses and are looking for new challenges are welcome too.

Prices: these vary depending on the centre and the length of course. There are often concessions available for over 60's or those on mean tested benefits. For more information contact the centres directly. I will post links to these on my homepage.

Kids & U18's
If you have a child who would like to start learning guitar or ukulele or would like additional tutoring to support school lessons or curriculum learning then give me a shout!
I have a current DBS certificate and have worked in schools supporting learning.
Depending on age and interests lessons can follow a more formal graded progression or focus more on certain styles and songs. If you would like to discuss what would be best for your child then contact me for details.
